Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal.

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the last item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us—Epicurean Cutting Surfaces B.V., De Entree 201, 1101 HG Amsterdam, The Netherlands; email: support@epicurean-eu.com—of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unequivocal statement, for example a letter sent by post or an email. You may use the model withdrawal form provided below, but you are not required to do so.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs, except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal from this contract. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days after the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day period has expired. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are liable for any diminished value of the goods only where that diminished value results from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exclusions From the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following contracts:

• Contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for which an individual choice or decision by the consumer is decisive for their production, or that are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal requirements.
